There was a hidden hostility for much of this interview against this Governor. While he doesn't do a good job communicating his views and I don't know his history, there was a lot of sarcasm directed his way, almost like they were trying to get him to say something controversial. He was quite defensive and kept interrupting others, but I think the conversation was trying to put him in that position. And No, I'm not saying he was right in all his comments, but it's almost like they were baiting him on various issues. Not the best interview out there since Dick Cavett was trying to play his audience as well.

Good on Jonathan Miller for giving this dinosaur a run for his money.

Enoch vets it wrong again when he says the children of immigrants would be living completely separate to the native British population. That is simply not the case.

He is wrong in that large numbers had immigrated to Britain for work to rebuild after the war.

Enoch is vindicated. Miller was a weasel who could not admit the reality of the situation
